We really enjoyed the location on the Marina. The rooms are nicely upgraded, very comfortable bed.

The room was ok, the carpet needed cleaning in a few spots and the balcony was not cleaned yet. The outside of the building could use some attention, but we enjoyed the location for the price we paid.

Our room had a huge deck overlooking the marina which was always interesting to watch. Nice restaurant on site overlooking the water. Resort check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

A great experience overall from booking to check out. The room was nice and well appointed. The hotel was beside a commercial fishing dock. The onsite restaurant and adventure centre were handy. It was a bit out of the way from main town, but only a couple minute drive. Travelzoo made it pretty economical!

We loved how close the hotel was to town so we could walk with our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the onsite restaurant and the staff were all so friendly and nice.

I was not overly impressed with the cleanliness of the room due to a large spider web with a spider inhabitant above the front door and secondly, when we requested our room to be made up, the towels were taken but the bed was left unmade. There are also dark black specks in the grout in the shower which may need attention.

Overall, I was very happy with the stay and staff. The points above did not make my stay less enjoyable but would simply like to alert your attention to this for improvements before the next stay.

Second time staying here and lived up to expectations. Like how central it is. You can walk into Tofino for restaurants or excursions. Also easy access to bike path.Only issue was confusing with booking- three different room types but not clear on booking. Had to call to clarify why certain dates not available but had been. Still was able to book, but booking process not as easy as previously

The front desk people are delightful, the room was perfect with a complimentary bottle of wine, two super comfy bathrobes, and an 'extra' tv room and couch!! Having the SHELTER restaurant there was an absolute plus!!

Everything was fine. One comment; The Travelzoo deal included a bottle of wine and chocolates, with a supposed value of $50. Since the wine has a retail value at the local liquor store of $17.99, the $59 value seems vastly overstated, unless you are assuming a restaurant type mark up. It wasn’t a big deal for us, I just think it is ‘bush league” to advertise the customer is getting a certain value when they are not. Since we didn’t have a view room, there really wasn’t even a place to enjoy the wine while we were there.

My wife and I went to Tofino to do some storm watchin unfortunately the sun came out. I like Tofino Resort and Marina because it has a great location and is very clean. Everything about our stay was very good and would recommend anyone wanting to stay in Tofino to check it out.

This is a great location if you want to walk to town and super clean and very supportive staff. Forgot wine bottle opener, we had one within minutes delivered to our room. Bottle of Shiraz Copper moon and chocolates in our room. Wonderful stay.

The room had many spider webs in the corners, the people above us were so loud at night it sounded like they were all dancing in heels. The wine and chocolate that was promised as $50 value was no more than a cheap $11 wine and 4 chocolate coins that you would see at the dollar store. It was ok for a motel like experience.

We asked for more towels and the said maybe because they were prioritizing cleaning rooms for new guests like the current guests didn’t really matter
