People are panicking over COVID vaccine.Let me tell you, the probability of a Thromboembolic event from COVISHIELD is 0.61/million doses. The vaccine given in UK has a probability of 4/million doses, while in Germany it's 10/million doses. Rare side effects are present in all vaccines. COVID was killing almost 1 person every 4 minutes, vaccination was necessary.Do you know that Oral Polio vaccine has a rare side effect of paralytic poliomyelitis where the Polio virus can attack the brain and spinal cord, probability is around 0.5/million doses. Let's stop stressing out over all this, work on your health as COVID has definitely affected our bodies and weakened it.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEContact: Joel LeydenVaccineAngel.com Offering Covid ResourcesHartford, CT --- September 21 ...VaccineAngel.comis today where we were two years ago - trying to find excess dosages of the new Covid vaccine. There is a new COVID variant rapidly spreading throughout the Northeast and there are indications that cases will be increasing into the fall.New COVID-19 vaccines became available in the last two weeks but supplies are not stable. The brand-new shot is a monovalent vaccine approved by the Federal Drug Administration in early September. But don’t call it a booster. The new shot is not building off or improving the immunity you already have from earlier COVID vaccinations; it’s making a new immune response to current variant threats. The Centers for Disease Control says the best way to find a vaccine location near you is to searchvaccines.gov, text your ZIP code to 438829 or call (800) 232-0233.Both Moderna and Pfizer manufacture the new vaccine, and the CDC says you can choose whichever company you’d like, regardless of which vaccine maker you received your shot from previously. The federal government is once again offeringfree COVID teststhat will be mailed to homes across the U.S.Starting Monday, September 25, the federal government will send up to four free COVID-19 rapid tests per household to anyone who requests them.It appears even harder to find the Covid vaccines for children.CVS said it expects to start receiving those doses next week and Walmart anticipates they’ll arrive well after the adult vaccines have come in.A notice on Walgreens’ website said appointments for children under 12 years old won’t start until Friday, Sept. 29.VaccineAngel.com is a non-profit, volunteer organization providing the latest news on Covid working with infectious disease doctors and nurses at Yale New Haven, Hartford Healthcare and several other medical facilities. We are operating 24/7 to answer yourquestions at VaccineAngel.com

Imagine a world where vaccines could be delivered orally. This groundbreaking approach not only simplifies the vaccination process (for needle-phobia) but also holds the promise of rapid response against diseases. 💉🌍#OralVaccines #InnovationInHealthcare #AccessibleHealthcare #GlobalHealthcare #FightingDiseases #StayProtected #SymmetricTraining

Nice editorial by Vaccines Today, highlighting that the countries that took more effort in setting up harmonized and accessible vaccine registries and EHR 💻 are among the ones with the best vaccine uptake 🔝. And, if you collect data, you can analyze it, check for performance metrics, find the gaps and improve your service with the final aim of optimizing the healthcare services/budget expense ratio.💡 There is one sentence in particular that grabs my attention: 🤔 "Weak flu uptake among over 65s, does not augur well for the rollout of a host of new vaccines to the same cohort: ‘If you can’t give the flu vaccine effectively, how on earth are you going to do the rest?’".In other words, you may have a supercar, but if you don't learn how to turn it on and drive it, you'll never go faster than a compact car! #vaccineswork #flu https://lnkd.in/gX7W8x9S

The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, your relatives, and your community against the worst outcomes of COVID-19. The CDC recommends everyone 6 years and older get 1 updated vaccine. We need providers to spread the word that COVID-19 vaccines are widely available at no cost to patients. National Influenza Vaccination Week is the perfect time to get current on all available vaccines. COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project #iVax2Protect #NIVW

While this was written 4 years ago, why do we feel it was written yesterday ? The target was COVID then, and now, groups like Physicians for Informed Consent are targeting vaccine-preventable diseases like measles (tons of outbreaks now), polio, HPV and other children-directed vaccines. In general, when we’re talking about vaccines, we’re usually talking about vaccines for kids. And the three vaccines that are primarily targeted are the #mmr vaccine for measles, mumps, rubella; the #hpv vaccine; and the #flu vaccine. What’s happened in the United States is that, historically, there has been a rise and fall of anti-vaccine sentiment ever since colonial times, with smallpox vaccinations.the tech giants have done the minimum possible to give the optics of some level of social responsibility, but the truth is that they are getting a significant amount of revenue from promoting the agenda of the anti-vaccine groups. Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, you name it. And so that’s a problem. And one of the other problems is that if the U.S. government’s going to take out some of this, they can’t do it with the Health & Human Services agencies alone. We’ve got to bring in Homeland Security, they’ve got to bring in the State Department. Because the other piece to this is, besides the homegrown anti-vaccine groups, you have the Russian disinformation, or what some call weaponized health communication.https://lnkd.in/eBfCMrYF

💡 For anyone interested in the fast-changing vaccine landscape, there is one credible source that is particularly useful. 📑 The report "Vaccines Europe pipeline review 2023" is a fantastic piece to be informed about the future landscape of vaccines. What we learn, is that as of Aug 2023:- 103 vaccines in the pipeline, among which #4 for therapeutic use (new)- Top 5 diseases: COVID-19 (#17), Flu (#16), meninge (#7) RSV (#6) and Pneumo (#5), but 42% of candidates address a disease with no vaccine today- The vast majority (#83) of candidates in adults and older adults- The boom of RNA platform, with #43 candidates, the largest pipeline by farAfter reading this, one could wonder:- How will national vaccine budget absorb this considerable vaccine pipeline, in context of cost-containment measures? - Will the (older) adult vaccination landscape be (too) crowded with more and more diseases to be vaccinated against? - What be the uptake of these innovative vaccines among adults be, in a post-pandemic context given vaccine fatigue? Exactly the kind of questions we like to address with our dream team Olivier Vitoux Lina Chakir Stéphanie De Man Erik Saey Flora LeadleyCredits and kudos to Vaccines Europe team Sibilia Quilici#CVA #newhealthcaresystems #daretoleaddifferently #vaccines #ourexpertise

Did you know #vaccines are key in preventing #HepatitisB and its related conditions. Yet, despite the benefits of the Hepatitis B vaccination, vaccine coverage remains low in many areas. On #WorldHepatitisDay,we want to share some quick facts about the disease and our work in this space: 🌍 Coverage remains low due to cost, lack of healthcare infrastructure, and lack of knowledge.💡Skin or intradermal (ID) vaccination can be a promising new route of administration, improving vaccine uptake, by offering dose-sparing potential.👍We investigated the immunogenicity and safety of intradermal delivery of a hepatitis B booster vaccine using our VAX-ID® solution. Our results showed that the vaccine delivered through the intradermal route with our VAX-ID® offered similar immunogenicity as other methods. 🌟 Unlocking Adult Vaccination Potential 🌟Amidst low flu vaccination rates, bridging the gap between scientific progress and vaccine uptake is crucial. Denmark's success story underscores the power of data-driven strategies. By investing in data collection 📊, we pave the way for increased protection against flu and future diseases. Let's emulate their approach and elevate adult vaccination efforts. #Vaccines #DataDrivenHealthcare 💉
