Summary[]
Based on the best-selling horror video game series Five Nights at Freddy's, this essential logbook offers night guards new to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza a chance for self-reflection during their first week on the job. Quizzes, lists, and prompts throughout reinforce training, provide room to log in-game events, and allow for introspection on the best qualities of a Freddy's employee--namely, a genuine disregard for instinctive self-preservation.
Trivia[]
The last page depicts an artwork of a severely damaged Chica sitting on a stool. (It’s confirmed it’s a stool by brightening the image.)
The origins and the universe of this animatronic is completely unknown of where this withered version of the original Chica existed.
Throughout the book, it is heavily implied to be previously been owned by Michael Afton.
Near the beginning of the book, there is an image of Foxy reading a copy of a magazine called Screws, Bolts, and Hairpins, which was mentioned by HandUnit on Night 1 of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.
In the updated edition of The Freddy Files, it's stated that this book can help solve some of the many mysteries in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. In fact, many of the seemingly fun and whimsical puzzles have deeply hidden lore relevance. Interpreting these puzzles' true meaning will help the reader understand a great portion of the lore if done correctly.
Speculation[]
"I was the first! I have seen everything!"
This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied.
There also appears to be spirits “in” the book. Like said, it is implied to be previously used by Michael Afton, he also fills out questions in the book; for example, on a page where it asks what bad habits do you want to break, in red pen, someone wrote, “chewing gum excessively.” On another page, where it talks about what you would want in a gift basket, it appears someone drew money in a basket, with a arrow pointing to the Exotic Butters that they drew as well, saying “not this.” referencing Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.
There are also pages with hidden text that seem to be talking to the Crying Child; “The party was for you.” as well as, “Do you miss them?” and, “What do you see?” and lastly, “Was your favorite childhood toy a plastic purple telephone?” This spirit is heavily theorized to be the spirit whom possess Golden Freddy.
Lastly, there is another spirit who responds to the faded text spirit, but this time, they respond on the shift ratings of each night, specifically on Night 4 and Night 5. “I can’t see.” “It was for me.” “I’m scared.” and lastly, “I can hear sounds.” This spirit is theorized to be the Crying Child, this lead to a big idea and theory, that the Crying Child, and this other spirit possess an animatronic, Golden Freddy.

Reading the FNAF books in order provides a thorough and enjoyable accounting of every aspect and hidden detail of the literary companion pieces to the animatronic-themed horror franchise.
The chilling FNaF animatronics and grisly murders make them a terrifying read, best suited for teens and adults. You do not need to have played the game to enjoy the FNaF books which are packed full of suspense, but it is best to read the trilogy in order, so go ahead and get started!
Common Sense Media deemed the movie suitable for kids 14 and up, cautioning about its many depictions of violence and terror. Those include scenes showing young children being abducted, a man getting killed by a whirling saw, monsters biting a man in half and a man choking and then stabbing a woman.
Many fans will call Five Nights At Freddy's 4 the very hardest game in the history of the franchise, and it was undoubtedly the hardest seen up to that point when it was released.
Written by Scott Cawthon and Kira Breed-Wrisley, this book transports readers back to the infamous Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It follows the story of Charlie, the daughter of the pizzeria's founder, who returns to her hometown years after a series of gruesome murders occurred at the pizzeria.
According to Cawthon, the novel "expands the mythos and reveals a human element never before seen in the games". Although the novel inhabits the Five Nights at Freddy's universe, the book and the games are not "intended to fit together like two puzzle pieces".
It manages to blend family-friendly elements with spine-tingling scares, making it suitable for older kids and teenagers, especially those who are fans of the franchise. However, it's important to be aware that the film does contain moderate violence and gore, making it a true PG-13 horror experience.
Widely considered to be the best place to start for FNAF newcomers, the fourth game in the franchise is set the earliest in the overall timeline. Its plot takes place in 1983, which is a good while before the rest of the games.
